For students enrolling or graduating in September, it can be difficult to visualize the timing of job hunting in Japan. Please refer to the diagram below to get a sense of the overall schedule.

- The timing for starting job hunting is almost the same as for students who enroll in April.
- In most cases, students receive informal job offers before graduation.
- After graduation, there is a waiting period until the following April to join the company (except for October hires, which have no waiting period).
- Japanese language proficiency (JLPT N2 or higher, or an equivalent level in other exams such as the JTEST) is generally required. Since application deadlines and test dates vary by exam,
please plan accordingly based on your job hunting schedule.
